Outline

• Outline markers are now shown inside the editor pane, rather than in the Meta Sidebar.
• On smaller screens, markers are replaced with an icon that acts as the trigger for the Outline card.

Settings

Settings now opens as a routed full-page view, making it easier to browse, search, and deep-link into specific settings areas.

• Improved sections naming and categories for easier scanning.
• GitSync’s ignore section is now it’s own under Settings > Sync & Safety > Ignored allowing for an easier experience to add folders to the .gitignore config.
• ThemeCreator and Note Type lists redesigned for the extra space now.

Improvements

• Tags can now be renamed globally from the tags tree.
• Added .octarineignore support so ignored notes and folders are excluded from Ask Octarine context suggestions, note-search tools, and embedding search. Set ignored folder/notes in Settings > AI Assistant > Ignored
• Improved Hookmark integration.
• Opening note links through Octarine URLs now honours the explicitly requested workspace instead of falling back to the current workspace.
• Template insertion is more reliable for templates with empty list items or table cells.
• Inbox no longer spawns a new sidebar alongside the GlobalSidebar, but rather replaces the existing tree with inbox items.
• Note Types can now be assigned to a note via the command bar.
• Youtube embedded videos now look similar to regular videos, and allow for controls and video annotations.
• UI text sizing is more consistent across editor controls, settings, Ask Octarine, Views, search, and workspace screens.

Fixes

• Youtube embeds now work on Windows.
• Fixed an issue where read only notes would not seek timestamped controls.
• Fixed an issue where changing theme from the command bar could sometimes result in the license being removed from the local settings and showing an Upgrade banner.
• Fixed an issue where tags placed at the end of a note would cause irregular inserts in the next note you visit and pressing Return/Enter in.

• Outline is no longer a tab in the Meta Sidebar.
